Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder until well combined.
  • Add the cold butter cubes and work into the flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan and minced garlic evenly.
  • Pour in milk and gently mix with a fork until soft, slightly shaggy dough forms. Avoid overmixing.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface, pat into 1-inch thick circle, and cut into 6 wedges.
  • Place wedges on baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let scones rest for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm for peak flavor. Fresh garlic adds depth, but garlic powder works in a pinch. Ideal for entertaining, meal prep, or cozy mornings.
