- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh basil or parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Step 1: Sauté the Chicken
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
In a large pot or deep skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
Remove chicken and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter Base
In the same pot, melt the remaining butter.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Step 3: Build the Sauce
Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Step 4: Cook the Tortellini
Step 5: Combine Chicken and Cheese
Return cooked chicken to the pot.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes glossy.
Simmer 2–3 minutes for flavors to meld.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve

- Adjust spice according to taste.
- Ideal for meal prep and reheating.
- Can be made dairy-free or vegetarian.
