Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 7 g active dry or instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1–1.5 cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually add warm water and mix until a sticky dough forms. Stir in olive oil if using.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Shape dough into a round or oval loaf. Cover and let rest for 10–15 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place dough inside, cover with a lid, and cook for 10–15 minutes.
  • Flip the bread, cover again, and cook for another 10–15 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Notes

Keep the heat at medium-low to avoid burning. Always cook with a lid to trap steam and ensure even cooking. Bread is done when the bottom sounds hollow when tapped.
