Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 fresh lemons, zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Place salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for 6–8 minutes per side, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Avoid marinating longer than 30 minutes to prevent the lemon from overpowering the salmon. Let the fish rest briefly after grilling to retain moisture.
