Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 lb cooked bacon, chopped
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 12 oz shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with garlic and onion powder until browned and crumbly, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease and transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Add the chopped cooked bacon to the baking dish and mix evenly with the ground beef.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth. Stir in three-quarters of the shredded Cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the beef and bacon. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Let the casserole rest 5–10 minutes before slicing for clean portions. Add cream cheese for extra creaminess, diced pickles for tang, or jalapeños for heat. This dish stores and reheats beautifully and freezes well for up to 3 months.
