Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1/2 lb hot Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Brown the hot sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  • Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Top evenly with mozzarella, cooked sausage, and crumbled feta.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle generously with hot honey. Sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Drizzle honey only after baking to prevent burning. Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust and let the pizza rest for 5 minutes before slicing to keep toppings in place. Avoid overloading with toppings to maintain a crisp base.
