Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • cups cold milk
  • 2 cups whipped topping or freshly whipped cream
  • 2 cups sponge cake or pound cake, cubed

Instructions
 

  • Place the sliced strawberries in a bowl and set aside to release their juices.
  • Whisk the vanilla pudding mix with cold milk until smooth. Let thicken for 5 minutes.
  • Gently fold the whipped topping into the thickened pudding until light and fluffy.
  • Layer half of the cake cubes, strawberries, and cream mixture in a serving bowl.
  • Repeat with remaining cake cubes, strawberries, and cream mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
