  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Dry Mix
Whisk together the flour, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add Cheese and Butter
Add the shredded cheddar and softened butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies
Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, keeping the pieces intact for maximum crunch.
  • Shape the Crackers
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet, 2 inches apart.Flatten each ball slightly using your fingers or the base of a glass.
  • Bake
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
  • Cool
Allow crackers to cool completely on a wire rack, then store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For best texture, avoid overmixing the dough.
  • Let the crackers cool fully before storing.
  • Great for lunchboxes or holiday snack boards.
