Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This high heat gives the chips that irresistible crunch.
Slice tortillas into triangles or squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Try to keep the sizes even so they bake uniformly.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out your tortilla pieces in a single layer. No overlapping — they need breathing room to crisp up.
Add a thin layer of sauce to each piece. Don’t overdo it—just enough to coat. Too much will make them soggy.
Sprinkle cheese and toppings evenly across the chips.
Dust with seasoning: Italian herbs, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
Cool for 2–3 minutes before serving. (They crisp up beautifully as they rest!)
Optional Air Fryer Method:Air fry at 375°F for 5–6 minutes, checking halfway through.
