Ingredients
  

For the Chips

  • 4 tortillas (corn for crunch, flour for softness)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara (thicker sauces keep chips crisp)

For the Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or mix with provolone, cheddar, or Parmesan)
  • 1 cup of your favorite toppings: mini pepperoni, diced bell peppers, black olives, mushrooms, etc.

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional but recommended)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This high heat gives the chips that irresistible crunch.
  • Slice tortillas into triangles or squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Try to keep the sizes even so they bake uniformly.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out your tortilla pieces in a single layer. No overlapping — they need breathing room to crisp up.
  • Add a thin layer of sauce to each piece. Don’t overdo it—just enough to coat. Too much will make them soggy.
  • Sprinkle cheese and toppings evenly across the chips.
  • Dust with seasoning: Italian herbs, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool for 2–3 minutes before serving. (They crisp up beautifully as they rest!)
  • Optional Air Fryer Method:Air fry at 375°F for 5–6 minutes, checking halfway through.
