Ingredients

  • 2 boxes vanilla wafers
  • 6-8 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 container fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk recommended)
  • 1 (5 oz) box French vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz) tub whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)

Instructions

  • Make the Creamy Filling
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and velvety.
  • Add the Pudding
Whisk the French vanilla pudding mix and milk into the cream cheese mixture. Stir until fully combined with no lumps remaining.
  • Build the First Layer
In a large glass or ceramic dish, place a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom. Add a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries on top.
  • Add the Pudding Mixture
Pour half of the pudding mixture evenly over the fruit and wafers.
  • Repeat the Layers
Add another layer of wafers, bananas, and strawberries. Spread the remaining pudding mixture over the top.
  • Finish With Whipped Topping
Smooth the whipped topping over the final pudding layer. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours—longer if possible.
