Ingredients
  

  • 1 box banana cream instant pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 20 oz crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 10 oz maraschino cherries, drained and halved
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and crushed pineapple with its juice until smooth and thickened.
  • Gently stir in cherries, strawberries, marshmallows, nuts, chocolate chips, and banana slices until evenly combined.
  • Fold in half of the whipped topping, then add the remaining half and fold gently until light and fluffy.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend and the texture to set.
  • Stir lightly before serving and garnish with extra chocolate chips or cherries if desired.

Notes

Best served well chilled. Add bananas just before chilling to reduce browning. Nuts are optional and can be omitted for a nut-free version.
