Equipment

  • Oven
  • pizza pan or baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • spatula or spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 4 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it into an even, round shape about 1/4-inch thick.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the crust is firm, cooked through, and lightly golden around the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and spread the sauce evenly over the crust. Add mozzarella slices, tomato, and basil.
  • Return to the oven for 5 minutes, just until the cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
  • Let the pizza rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

Avoid overly wet toppings to keep the crust firm. Freshly grated Parmesan improves binding and flavor. Always let the pizza rest a few minutes before slicing for the best texture.
