Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper or silicone mat
  • small mixing bowl
  • pastry brush
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  • Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella at the wide end of each dough triangle.
  • Roll each triangle starting from the wide end toward the tip. Tuck the point underneath to prevent unrolling.
  • Brush the rolls generously with garlic butter. Sprinkle with parsley if using.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for the best flavor. Keep cheese slightly away from the edges to prevent leaking. Serve immediately for the best gooey texture, but leftovers reheat well.
